Sudden Cardiac Death Letter for the Family
Members of the European Patient Advocacy Group (Ruth Biller, Ester Costafreda, and Lorraine McGlinchey) have written a letter to inform family members following the sudden cardiac death of a loved one. Two ERN GUARD-Heart experts (Lia Crotti and Alice Krebsova) and the thematic area leads for areas 1-3 (Elena Arbelo, Philippe Charron, and Georgia Sarquella Brugada) have reviewed the text and approved the final version. The letter is written from the perspective of patients who have experienced sudden cardiac death in their family. You are welcome to translate it into your local language. We only ask that you please keep the ePAG and ERN logos, but you are welcome to add the logo of your own hospital/organisation.
